CHALLENGE

DEFY Media is the top creator, distributor and owner of millennial focused digital content. Generating over 500 million views every month, they have a deep understanding of their audience and platforms where they spend time. DEFY Media employs over 400 people and is a leader in developing content for millennials, distributing content to them internationally and marketing the content in meaningful and impactful ways. DEFY Media is the only digital content company that has the proven ability to repeatedly build digital brands and establish content franchises which form powerful bonds with audiences across multiple media platforms.

ACTION

DEFY hit a growth spurt due to the success of their business and needed to bring on several folks within Adtech across Campaign Management and Sales.

RESULT

Engro Partners scoured the talent market leveraging current relationships and headhunting new talent to identify a strong talent pool for DEFY. Engro Partners worked with DEFY’s timeline to help streamline the interview process to enable DEFY to hand select the top candidates of interest. We held on-site meetings with the team to tap into DEFY’s culture and leaned on that while interviewing candidates in-person for the process. This ensured they not only had the skills for the role but also the personality. Partnering directly with HR and the Hiring Managers, Engro Partners enabled DEFY to hire who they wanted in an extremely competitive landscape, helping them to bring on strong talent with the right relationships to help their business grow.
