Re-Origin, a Seed stage consumer subscription HealthTech, was quickly approaching profitability but needed a Co-founder and Head of Growth Marketing leader with experience building and scaling the growth engine from ~$1M in ARR to over $50M in ARR. Re-Origin had users and a devoted community but thus far they’ve only just touched the surface of their TAM by initially targeting the most niche but endemic consumers. Now with a highly valued product and extremely active community it was time to expand their reach while also effectively optimizing their conversion funnel. To build a marketing flywheel that seamlessly orchestrates an optimized user journey for multiple and very different segments of the market while also optimizing conversions and scalability requires a level of experience that’s always in high demand.
Ben Ahrens, founder of Re-Origin and the board agreed that now was the time to invest in accelerating the revenue growth to not only reach profitability but to 5-10x revenue in the next 12 months. So we set out to profile, identify and recruit a Co-founder and Head of Growth Marketing with a penchant for scaling companies from $0 past $50M in ARR. A Growth Marketing leader and doer who rolls up their sleeves in all aspects of the business from building user journeys/experiences that resonate with multiple segments, through to a data driven approach to building scalable marketing funnels for a growing and highly engaged community.
Over the first 3 weeks we mapped the market, calibrated on the right experience, and engaged with the market so that we could identify the people with the right experience who also embody the ideal approach and culture that will be most effective as Re-Origin’s Co-Founder and Head of Growth Marketing.
