VP, Head of Growth Marketing

CHALLENGE

Teal, a Series A ConsumerTech, needed a Head of Growth Marketing to drive user acquisition and engagement. Given the stage of revenue the growth strategy will be more focused on organic growth marketing with an eye towards scaling the paid marketing strategy (search and social) as revenue grows.

ACTION

We quickly set the target at Growth Marketing leaders who had the experience of scaling a similar Consumer SaaS through multiple revenue inflection points. At Teal’s stage the strategy would be more SEO focused to reduce the cost of adding Paid Search and Social to the growth marketing strategy – so we needed someone who could set the overall strategy and roll up their sleeves.

RESULT

Within a week we had identified a few ideal prospects who had the right experience to set the growth strategy to build the marketing flywheel that would drive revenue growth through multiple inflection points. Within 3 weeks we made the ideal hire for Teal.
